The French Institute in Latvia supports new artists and general artistic mobility through the support of the artists’ residency programme. As part of the residency programme, the artists receive stipends or even the opportunity to use a residence, and in this way can live in other countries for a number of weeks or even months. The main goal of the programme is to develop creative work, to encourage the development of new undiscovered artistic forms and expression, as well as the meeting of creative personalities and the exchanging of experience.
