The French Institute in Latvia offers French language courses for children in groups and individually. The activities are conducted face-to-face and online. All activities are developed based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. French language courses allow to develop all skills: reading, writing, listening, speaking.

The general courses programme (for children from 8 years of age)  includes preparation for the DELF-DALF exams, which allows you to certify your level of French language knowledge with an internationally recognized diploma. If you register for a course and a DELF exam at the same time, you will receive a 10% discount on taking DELF exam.

STUDY SESSIONS FOR CHILDREN:

- semester session (Sep.-Jan., Jan.-May)
4,5 months, 2x/week. 90 min for adolescents on working days

- Full study year (Sept.-may)
9 months, 1x/week. 90 min. for adolescents on working days or Saturdays.

For French language classes you must buy a student book and an exercise book. These books can be purchased at the “Globuss” bookstore at Vaļņu street 26 or online at www.gramatnicaglobuss.lv

If you have some prior knowledge of French language but you have never attended courses at the French Institute in Latvia, you must take a placement test. The test is free upon registration for a course.
