FRENCH IN FRANCE
The French Institute in Latvia cooperates with three French language learning centers in France: CAVILAM Alliance Française in Vichy, the CAREL Audio-visual Language Training Center in Royan, and Accent Français in Montpellier. These learning centers offer intensive language courses for adolescents (from the age of 12), as well as adults.

Bonjour à la langue française
Since September 2024, the French Institute in Latvia has been running the training program “Bonjour à la langue française”, which allows teachers already in service to become French language teachers. This program includes both a language component and a didactic (teaching methodology) component.
Big news since September 2025: we are now also welcoming complete beginners in the French language!

WINE-TASTING CLASSES
Thanks to a long-standing collaboration with the wine bar VIETA and the sommelier Janis Volkinšteins, the French institute invites you to join us on a journey into the world of wine!
The wine-tasting classes offer an opportunity to explore and enjoy French wines from different regions and pair them with matching snacks.
The classes are held in Latvian.
