choose your study program

France ranks in the 5th place for international student intake! More than 3500 public or private higher education institutions are located in France. Universities, grandes écoles, art and architecture schools – this diversity of education, its high quality and reasonable tuition costs are among the advantages of studies in France.

UNIVERSITIES

French universities welcome 75% of foreign students who choose to study in France. These public higher education institutions are financed by the French State.

First-year enrolment is available for all individuals with a baccalauréat or equivalent high school diploma. Higher education encompasses all study and research fields – science, literature, languages, art, humanities, medicine or physical education.

GRANDES ECOLES: THE FRENCH PRESTIGE

20% of foreign students study in the very prestigious great schools: Higher Normal School (ENS), Institutes for Political Studies (IEP), engineering schools, business and management schools, and veterinary schools. These great schools are public or private higher education institutions whose admission process is highly selective. They offer a wide variety of educational programmes (some of which are taught in English) and deliver diplomas up to master’s degree level. Great schools’ diplomas are especially appreciated by large companies and administrative institutions.
