WINE-TASTING CLASSES
Thanks to a long-standing collaboration with the wine bar VIETA and the sommelier Janis Volkinšteins, the French institute invites you to join us on a journey into the world of wine!
The wine-tasting classes offer an opportunity to explore and enjoy French wines from different regions and pair them with matching snacks.
The classes are held in Latvian.

- 27/02/2026 17h00 à 18h30. Burgundy's quality hierarchy, including Premier Cru and Grand Cru.
- 20/03/2026 17h00 à 18h30. Do the tasting like a professional! How wine aromas are formed, how to recognize wines in a blind tasting.
- 17/04/2026 17h00 à 18h30. Bonnaire champagne tasting. Exclusive meeting with the winemaker Jean-Emmanuel Bonnaire.
